Elaine is a songwriter with a minor in music from Framingham State College (Framingham, MA). After college she went on to study jazz bass at the John Payne Music Center in Brookline, MA. Being more of a rock player, Elaine then joined an all originals alternative band out of Cambridge Mass called 'Static' in 1987. Static played at the Comedy Connection and TT The Bears Place in Cambridge and took part in a battle of the bands at The Channel in Boston. In the Berkshires, prior to joining Pariah, Elaine played in the Lenox Music Festival at the National Music Foundation in 1998 with Stella's Revenge and in 1999 with Parrott Pie. Elaine has also appeared several times on Jerry's Place on Pittsfield Community Television. The band Pariah debuted in 2007, with Elaine on bass, Dawn Simmons on vocals, Shawn Maschino on guitar and Jess Wehry on drums. Pariah rocked heavy until their final performance October 31, 2009. New projects are on the horizon in 2010 including a country band and all female band...more to follow.
